Selfportrait PROGRES

School project again: Drawing

We have to make a selfportrait and we may use every material we want so I decided to use pastel pencils on gray paper. quite different from what I normally use.
Every week I will post an update.

22-10-12: Sketch and the mouth
29-10-12: Left eye
12-11-12: Right eye/piece jacket on the left
19-11-12: left collar/piece jacket on the right
26-11-12: jacket on the right
(because i use pastel pencils and my teacher thinks the drawing can stay in the drawer where everyone put its drawing, my whole drawing was full of red spots... so it took a lot of time to clear the mess)
03-12-12: Right collar
10-12-12: Base color face and little bit detail
11-12-12: Detailing face
18-12-12: Finished face
07-01-13: Right side of the hair and some on the left
08-01-13: Hair finished and the dark shadow
(yeah almost done)
09-01-13: Black spots erased and a litle bit of the hand
14-01-13: One hand done
25-01-13: FINALY FINISHED IT

and because of the strange size of it (70x110) we don't have a framework for it.... so it still does not hang in school.
